BITE the HABIT

For as long as I can remember, I have been an avid nail biter and cuticle destroyer. Now, at almost 24 years, I've decided to attempt to break the habit for ONE LAST TIME. Because this time, it will work. It may seem silly to some, but this is a habit that I have been unable to break, even after multiple attempts.

quitepolished: This is my first experience with needle dragging and I have to say I really enjoyed it! Much easier than water marbling and I like the results much better. My middle finger is probably my favorite. Love & Beauty Teal, Love & Beauty Cream (I Know there can be multiple polishes with the same name from this brand, despite being different colors, these were in the little bottles that are $1.50)

bedazzlethatshit: “Birds are a miracle because they prove to us there is a finer, simpler state of being which we may strive to attain.” Doug Coupland My feather post from yesterday really inspired me.  I went back to the feathers and this design is what came to mind.  I used Butter London’s Yummy Mummy as a base color and OPI’s Onyx for the silhouettes.  I used a 3/0 Round Watercolor brush and my Orly Detailer with a coat of Seche Vite on top.  I’m simply in love with this design.
